Eastern Beach

Eastern Beach

Finally! It’s picnic time! Every body was wearing mufti, but the worst part was that the bus came late. We waited and waited then the bus finally came, then every body yelled out loud, that my ear burst. After that we all hopped on the bus and while we waited, the girls at the bus sang songs.

When we arrived we saw a school from the South Auckland they were learning how to kayak. Then we had to listen to Mr Johnston for some safety rules. Everybody started to eat morning tea. I took my ball that I bought from home. It was green, white, blue and black. It was only room5 and 6 that played touch. Everybody had a section to swim in the beach. The first section was the junior classes to swim. Room one went first.

So we all kept playing until it was the room 5 or 6 turn. After that Mr Johnston gave us another 20 minutes to swim. The sad thing is that I’m not allowed to swim in the beach. After swimming we had to pack up and go back to school. When we hopped on the bus, the girls at the back sang again!

The best thing was playing touch rugby with my friends.
